On March the 7th I flew back to Florida, this time to stay. My time of living with my son and his family has come to an end. Kennedy is strong and healthy and as much as we have all enjoyed our time together, I think we are also all ready to get back to our ‘normal’ lives. The kids need to find their new rhythm with two children, work, and play. I’m anxious to actually live in my house and to set up my new studio.

I’m so excited to actually have a whole room dedicated to MY STUDIO!!

I was able to make a trip to IKEA before they closed their doors and purchased some furniture for my new studio. I’m so happy with how the studio is shaping up. Here are a couple of photos and my new easel should be here on Thursday![/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][et_pb_row column_structure=”1_2,1_2″ _builder_version=”4.4.1″ custom_padding=”7px||15px|||”][et_pb_column type=”1_2″ _builder_version=”4.4.1″][et_pb_image src=”https://goodestudio.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/Studio-desk-side.jpg” _builder_version=”4.4.1″ box_shadow_style=”preset2″ box_shadow_color=”#8a8a80″][/et_pb_image][/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=”1_2″ _builder_version=”4.4.1″][et_pb_image src=”https://goodestudio.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/Studio-Easel-Side.jpg” _builder_version=”4.4.1″ box_shadow_style=”preset2″ box_shadow_color=”#8a8a80″][/et_pb_image][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][et_pb_row _builder_version=”4.4.1″ custom_padding=”11px||25px|||”][et_pb_column type=”4_4″ _builder_version=”4.4.1″][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.9.4″ text_font=”||||||||” text_font_size=”24px” text_line_height=”1.3em” hover_enabled=”0″ sticky_enabled=”0″]

I have so much to share, so many things that I have learned over the past 35 years of painting! I’ll be focusing on acrylics and wildlife, but exploring other mediums and other subjects as well. I also plan to do some ‘live chats’ where I’ll demo some techniques and you can ask questions in ‘real time’!

More details will follow….and I will be sharing some videos and techniques here on the blog. I truly believe that anyone….anyone with the desire and time can learn to paint!

  1. Thanks Ken…..I’m loving it so far. Guess that is good since we are all housebound for the foreseeable future! You guys take care, stay safe. LOVE YOU BOTH????

  2. I can’t wait until you start your online classes and hope that to take part them. My husband Pete has Alzheimer’s and I am his full time caregiver now. So I have little time to myself but want to use that time doing something I truly love.
    Wishing you much happiness and good health in your new home.

    1. Oh Sally, I’m so sorry. My mother-in-law has dementia and my father is her full time caregiver so I do have some idea of what you are going through. My prayers are with you both. Thank you for your well wishes and I hope (once I get it going) that you do find both comfort and enjoyment with the art classes. God Bless????
