Back to my little chipmunk painting….the first photo is just a reminder of where I left off. The photo below is the most recent update. Doesn’t look like I got much done. Truth be told, I only had a couple of hours yesterday to be at my easel. I spent most of my time making adjustments to the head and eyes. I felt he was looking a little flat. If you take a closer look at the eyes, I hope you will notice they seem a bit more rounded and defined. The nose has also been reshaped a bit….a little broader. The right cheek has been given a bit more definition as well. I think he is coming along nicely and his little personality is beginning to shine through. I still think I need to do a bit of work in the nose area and I also want to glaze in a bit more Burnt Sienna to liven up the fur. Questions and comments are always welcome!
