The wedding…..oh my….it was wonderful and I feel so incredibly blessed to have witnessed the love blossom between my son and his bride.  Yes, there were many tears of happiness shed and beautiful moments to remember.  I posted a few photos on my travel blog and facebook, so I will not re post here.  Just follow the link if you want to check them out.

I shared my pattern for my dress last post.  That was quite the experience.  It took about a week of…..”it’s wonderful I love it”…and..”I’m never going to get this to fit right, I hate it”…before it finally all came together and Yes….I did love it.  I received so many lovely compliments from family and friends at the reception.  Unfortunately I don’t have a photo to share with you all right now.  There was just so much excitement that day and I wanted to totally immerse myself into it.  I left camera….cell phone….all behind and just let the moments happen.  Once the professional photos are released I will be sure and post a photo.  I have to say I’m proud of my accomplishment.

Dancing…..the dancing was spectacular.  Now, I have always loved to dance and for most of our 34 years of marriage I have dance by myself or with a group of women.  My husband just didn’t feel comfortable on the dance floor.  We took lessons over the summer for that reason….and it paid off!  Hubby danced the night away with me and it was heavenly.

Mother and Son…our dance.  I left the choice of song up to my son….and told him not to tell me what he had picked.  I wanted to be surprised.  I was!  The song he chose was not a waltz.  He knows of my affection for Patron and so the song…..”Tequila”!  We flew around the dance floor to a fast Latin beat…it was awesome and perfect for the two of us!

And now……we are in Colorado Springs…..kicking back and relaxing in a beautiful rv park.  I do have some photos to share…..the internet here is pretty spotty and slow so hopefully I can get this all to post……

    1. Thanks Deborah! Yes, I really wished I would have thought to have snapped a photo of myself! But….just too much excitement for the big event!
