A Sweet Story (Queen Bee)

Enter into the fanciful world of the Queen.  Queen Bee that is….this beautiful mix media painting portrays the Queen complete with crown, flowers, and her hive.  Her story unfolds on a 4 inch by 4 inch wood panel with a 3/4 inch cradle.  The sides (cradle) are finished so it can be hung with or without a frame.    The painting is done with acrylics and watercolors and inks. Enhanced with bits and pieces from my magical collection of ephemera, all those special techniques that bring this hand painted Queen Bee to life.
