Beyond The Purple Skies (Bird)

This little bird is perched upon a branch watching the bee as it buzzes around the tulips.  A mix media painting, enhanced with acrylics and watercolors and inks.  It also contains bits and pieces from my magical collection of ephemera, including a beautiful silk ribbon.  The painting measures 4 inches by 4 inches with a 3/4 inch cradle.  The sides (cradle) are finished so it can be hung without a frame or displayed on the included small black easel.
