[et_pb_section fb_built=”1″ _builder_version=”4.9.4″ hover_enabled=”0″ background_color=”#F5F3F2″ sticky_enabled=”0″][et_pb_row _builder_version=”3.25″ custom_padding=”16px|0px|19px|0px|false|false”][et_pb_column type=”4_4″ _builder_version=”3.25″ custom_padding=”|||” custom_padding__hover=”|||”][et_pb_text _builder_version=”3.27.4″ text_font=”||||||||” text_font_size=”25px”]The second portrait in my series of four 8×8 acrylic paintings on gessobord is complete!  The most challenging part of this little gal was definitely her hair.  I don’t think I have ever painted a pet that had hair growing in so many different directions!  The second challenge was her person’s hand…see it there in the reference photo supporting her head.  Its been a long time since I painted anything remotely human…LOL!  Finding the right skin tones took a bit of experimentation.
