I have a new pet portrait on my easel…..I would like you to meet
Mikey
This guy just turned one year old!
He has a personality as big as he is…LOL!
And if you have never experienced ‘bulldog kisses’ well, you just haven’t lived!
HA!
Here is my first sketch….basically just a road map for me to follow when painting. Mikey’s owner (if you haven’t already guessed!) is an Ohio State fan, so Mikey will be sitting on the football field with a glimpse of the end zone behind him. Way Cool!
This will be done on a 16 by 20 gessobord in acrylic.
A note about the classroom….I know many of you have started taking my free classes and I hope you are enjoying them. I also know you are waiting for more lessons so you can finish your paintings and those lessons will be coming soon. For future courses, I will be posting the entire course with all the lessons available. That way you will be able to work at your own pace. All I ask, is that you have a bit of patience with me, as it takes several hours to paint, film, edit, and upload……
ALL. THAT. JAZZ.
Oh, Mikey. Those ears. I mean really. Could they be any cuter? Debbie this is just so wonderful to see your talent bring Mikey to life. The owners are going to be so very happy.
Thank you Elda……he is such a fun loving pup and my first bulldog to paint!
I really enjoy watching the process of your art work. There is always so much detail along the way. What a gorgeous piece this is. He looks so real.
Great rendition, Debbie. Mikey is adorable. I am excited to see the painting. By the way, I think it’s great to have the lessons online so people can work at their own pace. Nicely done!
Thank you Michelle! It has been a dream of mine for such a long time to have online classes….so much work….but so rewarding!
He looks great, Debbie! Oh how fun to stare at him for the duration of your painting. I am enjoying the free classes so far!
Thank you Amy! I’m so happy you are enjoying the classes too!
Mikey is priceless and know your rendition of him will be too. Thanks for sharing your process start. Can’t wait to see what you invent for the finale!
Thank you Nanette!
