Not a whole lot going on these days. We spent about 3 days in Hesperia, CA at the Desert Willow RV park. It was a nice little park, except for the ‘jack-n-jill” set up in the pull throughs. The spaces are narrow and I hate having my front door empty out into my neighbor’s front door. You share a ‘front yard’ with these kinds of sites, very little privacy.
Our next location is Bakersfield, CA. We have been here for 4 nights at the A Country RV park. Again a great little park, but with much nicer and roomier sites. Unfortunately, the day we arrived our GPS sent us to the back of the park. No entrance just a big ole brick wall. Fortunately, the street we were on was a dead end and there was a big field directly in front of us. The gate was open…so after a quick look around (making sure there was nothing in the field to damage our tires) we did a turn around and made our way to the front entrance of the park. Normally, I always put ‘maps’ on satellite to make sure the ‘path’ is correct. Of course, the one time I didn’t……bingo….you find yourself at the end of a dead end street!
Again not much to see our do here….except eat! We found a great little ice cream shop called Rosemary’s. They make their own ice cream and all of the toppings too!

This was mine….”Hot Fudge Brownie” made with coconut ice cream (which was to die for) and mint chocolate chip! MMMMMMMMmmmmmmm goode! LOL!
Today we are on our way to Sequoia RV Ranch in Three Rivers, CA. Looking so forward to visiting the Sequoia National Park while we are there. Keeping our fingers crossed that the weather cooperates. They still have snow in the higher elevations of the park, so we don’t know how much we will be able to do or see!
Finally, I have to share a couple of photos of my grand baby. So excited to see this little one…..
and “this little piggy went to market”……
Just look at that sweet little baby’s foot! We will be finding out boy or girl in the very near future! So in love with this little one…..can’t wait till September to hold him or her in my arms and put “GiGi” kisses all over that little head and foot!
