Ah…here it is ‘focus friday’ and I’m a little late getting this out.  I spent last weekend at my brothers and had the opportunity to get reacquainted with his kitty…..Mumbles

Mumbles-1She is quite the princess and definitely a Daddy’s girl……

Mumbles-2Although she finally did decided that her Auntie wasn’t sooooo bad.  Especially when I got up EARLY one morning to fill her breakfast bowl!

Mumbles-SmileShe even managed to give me a little Mumble’s Smile during our photo shoot!  Yes….I think she just might end up on her Auntie’s easel one day!

  1. Oh those eyes – they’re hypnotic. And that last photo of her rolling on the ground with a smile proves that you won her over. I get a sense that she’s particular about the ones she lets into her life. Well done you!

    1. Yes, Kelly she is very particular about who she allows in. It’s all about building trust. But once she decides you are trustworthy……well, then the demands come rolling in. Pet me…..feed me…..talk to me…..she is a very demanding little princess! LOL!

  2. Oh yes Susan! I love the ease of use and the fabulous pics even someone like me, a real photo novice, can achieve. My digital camera has definitely improved my painting skills as well. I can finally see….up close….all those teeny, tiny details I so love to paint!

  3. What a cutie! A few years ago I wrote a post about how much of a closeup shot I could get of my kitty with whatever camera I was using at the time–something cheap, I’m sure. The kitty looks somewhat like Mumbles and I was able to get National Geographic closeups of her face/eyes. Macro shots. We’re so lucky to have digital technology/cameras these days. Instant kitty pics!

  4. Oh, I am in LOVE with Mumbles! What entrancing eyes! What a wild-looking face! She looks like she’s got just a tiny bit of lynx in her, doesn’t she? I hope to see her on your easel someday!

    1. Ya know, I had not seen that…..the lynx connection…but you are right. I am definitely going to have to find time in my painting calendar for MISS MUMBLES!
